Established in 1666 on East London's historic Brick Lane, the Truman Brewery once stood as the largest brewery in the world, playing a pivotal role in shaping British brewing history.
As the original inventors of porter, quenching the thirst of London's busy market porters, Truman beer became synonymous with innovation, quality, and the rich tradition of East London's vibrant beer culture.
The Truman Brewery on Brick Lane shut down in 1989, sadly pausing centuries of continuous beer production. In the 2010s Truman Beer was relaunched in Hackney Wick before moving to Walthamstow.
Today, Truman beer is back home in Brick Lane! We proudly draw on over 350 years of brewing history to produce exceptional beer for the modern drinker. We have also added premium spirits to our range of drinks as well as high quality spring drawn mineral water.
Every pint of Truman beer, shot of Truman spirits and bottle of Truman water embodies our storied past while embracing the future.
